Ian Anderson, vocalist, flutist, and guitarist of the popular British rock band, Jethro Tull, is coming to Israel for the band’s 50th anniversary tour. Performances will take place at Heichal Hatarbut in Tel Aviv on October 27, followed by the International Convention Center in Jerusalem on October 28.

Formed in 1967, the band initially played blues rock, but later evolved and developed elements of hard rock. Their greatest success came in the 1970s with hit songs such as “Bungle In The Jungle,” “Living In The Past,” and “The Witch’s Promise.” The band has performed in Israel numerous times in the past, and Anderson who is the only remaining member of the band who is coming on tour, is expected to receive a warm welcome.

Performing in both Tel Aviv and Jerusalem will appeal to a wide audience. Join the energy and vibe of the lively city of Tel Aviv with its nightlife, culinary experiences and beautiful beaches, or enjoy the concert in the cultural and historic center of the country, which is Jerusalem. No matter which flavor of the region you prefer, there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, museums or galleries to visit in each of the cities before the venues open their doors.
