English musician, Marc Almond, will be heading to Israel in the summer for a much-awaited concert. The singer, who is most famous for his part in the new wave duo Soft Cell, will be playing north of Just north of the nonstop city of Tel Aviv in August.
Soft Cell became famous for its 80’s hits “Tainted Love,” “Torch,” “Say Hello, Wave Goodbye,” and others, while Almond’s solo career took off when the duo split in the mid-80’s with hits including “Jacky” and “Something’s Gotten Hold of My Heart.” In another tribute to the decade, the Israeli rock group, Tattoo, which broke up in 1989, will open the concert in a historic reunion.
Fans have been waiting for this performance since 2011, when his planned concert was canceled due to technical reasons. The 2018 concert promises to be an experience to remember.
